Eden Road Wines

New South Wales | Canberra District

Our Review

The name of this business reflects an earlier time when it also had a property in the Eden Valley. Now based in the Canberra district, having purchased one of Canberra's oldest vineyards (est 1972) and winery at Dookuna. Syrah, riesling and sauvignon blanc are sourced from estate vineyards in Canberra, with chardonnay and pinot noir coming from Tumbarumba. Viticulturist Thomas Lefebvre is converting the estate vineyards to organic; Rousseau expects to be making certified organic wines from the 2021 vintage. Exports to the UK and the US.

Eden Road is a boutique wine company creating some of the most exciting contemporary wines from the ancient soils of the Australian high country. Our relentless and passionate search for exceptional terroir ensures the creation of unique, authentic wines.

The home of Eden Road stretches across the deeply eroded mountain ranges of Southern New South Wales.

The Eden Road estate vineyard and winery is located just south of the village of Murrumbateman, at the heart of what is known as the Canberra Wine District. Eden Road also makes wines from vineyards established in ideal locations in Gundagai, Tumbarumba, and the Hilltops region.
