Eden Road Wines

New South Wales | Canberra District

James' Review

The name of this business, now entirely based in the Canberra District, reflects an earlier stage of its development when it also had a property in the Eden Valley. That has now been separated, and since 2008 operations have focused on Hilltops, Canberra District and Tumbarumba wines. Eden Road has purchased the former Doonkuna winery and mature vineyard, and its marketing was greatly assisted by winning the Jimmy Watson Trophy in '09. Exports to the UK and the US.

Eden Road is a boutique wine company creating some of the most exciting contemporary wines from the ancient soils of the Australian high country. Our relentless and passionate search for exceptional terroir ensures the creation of unique, authentic wines.

The home of Eden Road stretches across the deeply eroded mountain ranges of Southern New South Wales.

The Eden Road estate vineyard and winery is located just south of the village of Murrumbateman, at the heart of what is known as the Canberra Wine District. Eden Road also makes wines from vineyards established in ideal locations in Gundagai, Tumbarumba, and the Hilltops region.
