Rosnay Organic Wines

Rosnay Organic Wines is an interesting business venture of the Statham family, which moved onto the property in 1995. There are 30ha of vineyard on the 140ha property, part of which has been divided into 12 blocks along with 10 housing blocks, each of 5000 m2. The viticulture is organic, and the management company provides active growers or absentee investors with a range of specialist organic farming machinery and contract management. Winemaking is split between John Cassegrain of Cassegrain Wines, Kevin Karstrom of Botobolar and Rodney Hooper, each one of whom has expertise in organic grapegrowing and organic winemaking. -JAMES HALLIDAY
