Our Review

Dr Brian Freeman spent much of his life in research and education, in the latter with a role as head of CSU’s viticulture and oenology campus. In 2004 he purchased the 30-year-old Demondrille Vineyard and acquired the neighbouring vineyard. 10 years later he acquired a number of other vineyards within a 10km radius. In all he has 22 varieties that range from staples such as shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, semillon and riesling through to more exotic varieties such as harslevelu and Italian varieties prosecco (glera), sangiovese, nebbiolo and apparently, Australia's only plantings of rondinella and corvina.
