Our Review
Mistletoe Wines, owned by Ken and Gwen Sloan, can trace its history back to 1909, when a vineyard was planted on what was then called Mistletoe Farm, before disappearing. The Sloans have long since created a winery business here to stay. All wine is made onsite. Ken and Gwen still live at the winery, both working 7 days a week with no intention of retiring. Son Robert is the viticulturist and assistant winemaker, daughter Cassandra runs the cellar door with Gwen and granddaughter Natane. The quality and consistency of these wines is irreproachable, as is their price. In '22 the Sloans sold the residential property and retained the wine side of the business; which will operate until all stock has sold. -JAMES HALLIDAY
