Mount View Estate

New South Wales | Hunter Valley

James' Review

Mount View Estate's vineyard was planted by the very knowledgeable Harry Tulloch 45 years ago; he recognised the quality of the red basalt volcanic soils of the very attractive hillside site. Prior owners John and Polly Burgess also purchased the adjoining Limestone Creek vineyard in 2004 (planted in 1982), fitting it seamlessly into Mount View Estate's production. The quality of the wines is outstanding. The business changed hands in '16, now owned by a Chinese national with no further details available. Exports to China.
