Our Review
Mount View Estate’s vineyard was planted by the very knowledgeable Harry Tulloch almost 50 years ago; he recognised the quality of the red basalt volcanic soils of the very attractive hillside site. Prior owners John and Polly Burgess also purchased the adjoining Limestone Creek Vineyard in 2004 (planted in 1982), fitting it seamlessly into Mount View Estate’s production. The quality of the wines is outstanding. The business changed hands in ’16, now owned by a Chinese national with no further details available. Exports to China. -JAMES HALLIDAY

The Lodge at Mount View Estate is situated in the Mount View wine region of Pokolbin, Hunter Valley. Only minutes from the centre of Pokolbin, within easy reach of award-winning restaurants, golf courses, wineries and other major Hunter Valley attractions, the Lodge at Mount View Estate is an ideal haven to relax and unwind!
Guests can stay for as little as $55.00 per person per night midweek. Weekends start from as little as $600.00 for 4 guests for 2 nights. Club members receive further discounts. Pets are allowed by arrangement.
