In 1995 John and Mary Peschar purchased the historic Meerea Park property which had been in the ownership of the Eather family, the name of which continues to be used by the Eathers for a quite separate winemaking operation. The property is situated at the foot of the Wollemi National Park which rises steeply behind the vineyard. There are 16ha of chardonnay, planted on sandy alluvial soils. While the focus is on Chardonnay, the Peschars have sourced 6ha of vines in the Limestone Coast Zone for the production of Shiraz and Cabernet Merlot.
