Our Review
The Forbes family has been farming since the early 1900s. Zilzie is currently run by Roslyn Forbes and sons Steven and Andrew, the diverse range of farming activities now solely focused on grape growing from substantial vineyards. Having established a successful business as a grower, Zilzie formed a wine company in ’99 and built a winery in '00, expanding it to its current capacity of 60 000t. The wines consistently far exceed expectations, given their enticing prices, that consistency driving the substantial production volume in an extremely competitive market. The business includes contract processing, winemaking and storage; the winery is certified organic. -JAMES HALLIDAY
