The definitive guide to Australian Wines
Having established the business back in 1997, Terry Dolle made the decision to sell the Manildra vineyard in 2009. He now makes wine from small parcels of hand-picked fruit, using an old basket press and barrel maturation. These are in principle all single vineyard wines reflecting the terroir of Orange. Orange Mountain Wines was established in 2001 with vineyards planted from 1997. Our small family run business has been selling quality cool climate wines for over 14 years through the cellar door and online. Our hand crafted wines are made using traditional methods such as hand picking, hand plunging fermentation in small open containers to maximize colour and flavour, basket pressing, maturation in premium imported barrels and no fining ensures that we produce only the very best wines for your enjoyment.
Cool climate aromatic whites and delicate intense flavoured reds including Viognier, Chardonnay, Riesling, Shiraz and Pinot Noir. We have two ice wine styles called Mountain Ice Viognier and Mountain Ice Rose that have been awarded international trophies and are unique in Orange.
