Owned by the Swift family, and the next generation Edward and David have taken over (from Ed Swift) the reins to guide the business into its next era. In 2016 Printhie ‘clocked up' 10 years of commercial wine production, and the vineyards are now reaching a good level of maturity at 20 years. The 30ha of estate vineyards are planted at lower elevations and supply all the red varieties and the pinot gris; other varieties are purchased from other growers in the region. Winemaker Drew Tuckwell has been at Printhie for a decade, and has over 20 years of winemaking experience in Australia and Europe. Exports to Canada and China.
