Snowy Vineyard & Microbrewery

New South Wales | Southern New South Wales Zone

Our Review

This is the slightly renamed Snowy River Winery (briefly called Manfred's), the change following its acquisition by David and Sue Lowe (no relation to David Lowe of Mudgee) in 2005. It continues to claim to be Australia's coldest climate vineyard (I'm not sure it is) and to grow a German quartet of varieties: sylvaner, riesling, muller thurgau and siegerrebe. As well as table wine, siegerrebe produces a fortified white wine, and Snow Bruska is a blend of muller thurgau and shiraz. -JAMES HALLIDAY
