Owned by Judy and Glen Kelly, Artwine has three vineyards. Two are in Clare Valley: one on Springfarm Road, Clare; the other on Sawmill Road, Sevenhill. The third vineyard is in the Adelaide Hills at Woodside, which houses their cellar door. Artwine currently has 15 varieties planted. The Clare Valley vineyards have tempranillo, shiraz, riesling, pinot gris, cabernet sauvignon, fiano, graciano, grenache, montepulciano, viognier and cabernet franc. The Adelaide Hills vineyard has prosecco, pinot noir, merlot and albarino.
ArtWine is a boutique winery focusing on new-emerging wine varieties alongside the classics from our estate grown fruit. We have been planting alternative varieties since 2000. Our ArtWine label was launched in 2008 and since then we have received numerous awards and accolades including 11 Trophies, 8 won in 2016.
Wines are made in collaboration with Joanne Irvine, Winemaker and Mike Sykes, Winemaker.
Our new architecturally designed Cellar Door is at 72 Bird in Hand Road, Woodside in the Adelaide Hills.
Two vineyards in the Clare Valley are planted to Tempranillo, Graciano, Fiano, Pinot Gris, Viognier, Cabernet Franc,Grenache and Montepulciano along with the traditional varieties of Riesling Shiraz and Cabernet.
Our newest vineyard in the Adelaide Hills is planted to Merlot, Pinot Noir and Prosecco and Albarino.
