This is a far-flung, export-oriented, business. It purchases a little over 620 tonnes of grapes each vintage, the lion's share (surprisingly) riesling (250 tonnes), followed by shiraz (200 tonnes) and chardonnay (50 tonnes); the remainder is made up of pinot noir, gewurztraminer, merlot, dolcetto and muscat gordo blanco. Ben Riggs makes Shoofly Shiraz and Chardonnay at Vintners McLaren Vale; Frisk Riesling is made by Garry Wall at King Valley Wines. The bulk of exports go to the US, Canada and Ireland.
