The Flying Winemaker

The Flying Winemaker is the brainchild of Eddie McDougall, award-winning winemaker, wine judge, columnist and TV personality. Eddie’s winemaking credentials extend over a decade of experience with some of the world’s most influential wineries. He has made wines with the likes of Vietti (Barolo), Mas de Daumas Gassac (Languedoc), Deep Woods Estate (Margaret River), Giant Steps (Yarra Valley) and O’Leary Walker (Clare Valley). Eddie holds a bachelor of international business from Griffith University and a post-graduate diploma of wine technology and viticulture from the University of Melbourne. He spearheaded the acquisition of Wairarapa's Gladstone Vineyard in '18, where he took on the role of CEO and chief winemaker.
