Our Review
Boireann is set among the great granite boulders and trees that are so much a part of the Granite Belt. The vineyard is planted to 11 varieties, including four that make the Lurnea, a Bordeaux blend; shiraz and viognier; grenache and mourvedre for a Rhone blend; and a straight merlot. Tannat, pinot noir (French) and sangiovese, barbera and nebbiolo (Italian) make up the viticultural League of Nations. Peter and Therese Stark sold the business in 2017 but worked closely with new managers Brad Rowe and wife Metz; Brad made his first wines in 2018. Exports to Hong Kong and China.
