BK Wines is owned by NZ-born Brendon Keys and wife Kirsty. Brendon has packed a great deal of high and low living into the past decade, managing a chalet in the French Alps for eight months. Bouncing between Australia and NZ before working in California with the well known Paul Hobbs, he then helped Paul set up a winery in Argentina. Brendon's tag-line is ‘wines made with love, not money', and he has not hesitated to confound the normal rules of engagement in winemaking. If he isn't remembered for this, the labels for his wines should do the trick. Exports to the UK, the US, Canada, Norway, Singapore, Hong Kong and Japan.
BK Wines was established in 2007 by Brendon and Kirsty Keys with the vision to make single vineyard wines to showcase the diversity of the Adelaide Hills.
Our wines are made with minimal intervention and minimal additions. They are not mainstream, but an expression of Brendon’s artistic and passionate winemaking style.
