Established by Jennie Gardner and Col McBryde, both having prior experience in Australia (and elsewhere). The winery and vineyard are set in the Springfarm Valley, just south of the Clare township. The old vineyard, part dating back to 1910, is divided into three small blocks, with 1ha each of shiraz and grenache, and just under 0.5ha of cabernet sauvignon. The winery is a simple shed with the basic requisites to process the grapes and make wine. Most is estate- grown, along with grapes from a few sites in the Adelaide Hills.
