Italian-Australian industry veterans Don Totino, Don Luca,Tony Carrocci and Steve Maglieri decided to purchase Haselgrove ‘over a game of cards and couple of hearty reds' in 2008. They have completely changed the product range, the modern small-batch winery producing the Legend Series ($90-$150), the Origin Series ($30-$50), the Alternative Series ($24-$26), First Cut ($23) and the ‘H' by Haselgrove Series ($15-$18). Exports to Canada, Germany, Malaysia, South Korea, Hong Kong, China and NZ.
Established in 1981, Haselgrove is surrounded by over 10 hectares of Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Mataro vines – with some of the Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon vines dating back more than 60 years. We also work with a group of dedicated McLaren Vale and Adelaide Hills growers. Although renowned for producing rich and robust award winning reds from McLaren Vale, our whites are also making ripples with wine writers and on the wine show circuit.
