Mitolo Wines

Mitolo had a meteoric rise once Frank Mitolo decided to turn a winemaking hobby into a business. In '00 he took the plunge into the commercial end of the business, inviting Ben Glaetzer to make the wines. Split between the Jester range and single-vineyard wines, Mitolo began life as a red wine–dominant brand but now produces a range of varietals. In November ’17 Mitolo opened their $3 million tasting room, restaurant and event space with a flourish. Luke Mallaby joined Mitolo in ’21, after 20+ years of winemaking, most recently at Rosemount Estates. -JAMES HALLIDAY
