Our Review
After the sale of Maglieri Wines to Beringer Blass in 1998, Maglieri founder Serafino (Steve) Maglieri acquired the McLarens on the Lake complex originally established by Andrew Garrett. The operation draws upon over 120ha of shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, merlot, semillon, barbera, nebbiolo, sangiovese, and grenache; part of the grape production is sold. The Serafino Restaurant, holding two Chef Hat Awards, overlooks Lake McLaren and offers delicious dining.
Set in a stunning location with fine hospitality and a contemporary menu, Serafino Restaurant offers a superb dining experience, letting the natural flavours of each dish reach the palate, rather than overcomplicating the food.
