Our Review
Norfolk Rise Vineyard is by far the largest and most important development in the Mount Benson region. It is owned by privately held Belgian company G and C Kreglinger, which was established in 1797. In early 2002 Kreglinger acquired Pipers Brook Vineyard and has since maintained the separate brands of Pipers Brook and Norfolk Rise. There are 46 blocks of sauvignon blanc, pinot gris, pinot noir, shiraz, merlot and cabernet sauvignon, allowing a range of options in making the six single-variety wines in the portfolio. The business has moved from the export of bulk wine to bottled wine, which gives significantly better returns to the winery. Exports to the US, Canada, Europe and Asia.
About
Built in 2000 by Kreglinger Australia in the new and exciting Mount Benson wine region, Norfolk Rise was designed as a modern, state of the art winery capable of producing world class wines of great value. All of our fruit comes off our own estate vineyard that surrounds the winery, and with careful winemaking and attention to detail, our small winemaking team's focus is on producing elegant and varietal wines that are affordable, approachable and rewarding glass after glass.
