Malone Wines

The third and fourth generations of the Malone family continue to farm the Talinga property, owned by the family since 1930. The planting of vines in '98 was a minor diversification from the core businesses of producing prime lamb, hay and pasture seed. The decision was taken to focus on shiraz and cabernet sauvignon, with most of the grapes being sold, and limited amounts made under the Malone label. -JAMES HALLIDAY
