Devil's Corner

Tasmania | East Coast Tasmania

Our Review

Long the affordable little sibling of Tamar Ridge and Pirie within the Brown Family Wine Group, Devil’s Corner has increasingly grown up into a premium wine identity in its own right. Its home is the spectacular and picturesque Hazards Vineyard on Tasmania’s East Coast, still the largest vineyard in the state, though the company’s Kayena Vineyard (see Tamar Ridge) is also a substantial source for many of its blends. Riesling, sauvignon blanc, chardonnay, pinot gris, pinot noir and sparkling are all prominent in its range, with a premium pinot noir syrah blend recently introduced, and a straight syrah in the pipeline. The cellar door offers sensational views across the Hazards Vineyard to the Freycinet peninsula and The Hazards range itself. Exports to all major markets. -TYSON STELZER
