Our Review
The Moores Hill Estate vineyard (owned by winemaker Julian Allport and Fiona Weller plus Tim and Sheena High) consists of pinot noir, riesling, pinot gris and chardonnay, with a very small amount of cabernet sauvignon and merlot. The vines are located on a northeast-facing hillside, 5km from the Tamar River and 30km from Bass Strait. Moores Hill became Tasmania's first 100% solar-powered winery in 2017, the wines all made onsite.
