Clemens Hill is jointly owned by Aurelia D'Ettorre and Dr Rob Ware. Rob has over 20 years' experience in the Tasmanian wine industry, having been a partner with Fred Peacock at Bream Creek since 1989. Clemens Hill now has two vineyards: the estate property with pinot noir, sauvignon blanc and semillon, and the Tashinga Vineyard, also in the Coal River area, but with a different climate, bringing chardonnay and additional pinot noir.
Situated in the picturesque Coal River Valley in South East Tasmania, Clemens Hill has established an enviable reputation for producing wonderful Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc wines over the past decade. Drawing on multi decade experience in the Tasmanian wine industry, Rob Ware and Maria D'Ettorre are on track to greatly enhance Clemens Hill wines. Exceptional grapes from their existing Tashinga vineyard now complement superb home vineyard fruit.
