Domaine A

Tasmania | Southern Tasmania

Our Review

Effective from 1 March 2018 ownership of Domaine A passed from Peter Althaus, its long-term custodian, to Moorilla Estate. There were no changes to existing employees, with Conor van de Reest continuing as winemaker. The inclusion of Domaine A’s stock in the sale will be of particular relevance with the opening of Mona’s 172-room hotel on the Moorilla property in ’22. Mona is Australia’s largest private museum showing ancient, modern and contemporary art, founded by philanthropist and collector David Walsh. Exports to Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong and China.
