Our Review
Brown Brothers draws upon a considerable number of vineyards spread throughout a range of site climates – from very warm to very cool. Known for the diversity of varieties with which it works, the wines represent good value for money. Its cellar door receives the greatest number of visitors in Australia. Specialities
Brown Brothers has a mini-winery, the Kindergarten, dedicated to assessing new winemaking techniques, reassessing traditional methods, exploring new vineyard sites, wine styles and varieties, and feeding back information to the company's Viticulture and Marketing teams. Many of these experimental wines have now become widely available - wines such as Barbera, Dolcetto, Moscato and Tarrango were all initially trialed in the Kindergarten. Brown Brothers continues to lead Australia in producing innovative and exctiting new wines.
Cellar Door

These have become a special feature of Cellar Door, and are released under the Cellar Door label. Visitors to Milawa can try these wines available nowhere else, from a range which includes limited releases of new varietals, experimental batches and optimum aged wines.
