The Dal Zotto family is a King Valley institution; ex-tobacco growers, then contract grapegrowers, they are now 100% focused on their Dal Zotto wine range. Founded by Otto and Elena, ownership has now passed to sons Michael and Christian (and their partners Lynne and Simone), who handle winemaking and sales/marketing respectively. Dal Zotto is producing increasing amounts of Italian varieties of consistent quality from its substantial estate vineyard; they were the pioneers of prosecco in Australia with the first planting in 1999. The cellar door is in the centre of Whitfield, and is also home to their Trattoria (open weekends). Exports to the UK, U.A.E, the Philippines, Singapore and China appear to be flying.
