Fred and Katrina Pizzini have been grapegrowers in the King Valley for over 30 years, with a substantial vineyard. Originally much of the grape production was sold, but today is retained for the Pizzini brand, and the focus is on winemaking, which has been particularly successful. Indeed, Pizzini's success has resulted in an increase in its vineyard holdings to almost 90ha, and an increase in production (with more to come). The hectareage of its alternative varieties speaks for itself: 13.3ha of prosecco, 3.22ha brachetto, 2ha colorino, 2ha arneis, 1.5ha piccolit, 1.3ha verdicchio, 1.3ha verduzzo and 0.43ha trebbiano.
