Meredith

After trying his hand at almost everything in the wine industry –except actually making wine – Ben Luker found his footing in the Central Highlands of western Victoria and started his own label, Meredith. Ben has a tangible excitement for the industry and has coupled this with vintage experience abroad and, most recently, at Bleasdale (see separate entry) in Langhorne Creek. He launched Meredith in ’23 and makes grenache, cabernet sauvignon and riesling. The quality of the range is as important to Ben as making it sustainably. The labels are made from recycled materials, the glass is lightweight, and all grape marc is recycled on neighbouring farms for livestock feed.
