Jeff and Anne Wright are both Honours graduates in biochemistry who have succumbed to the lure of winemaking after lengthy careers elsewhere; in the case of Jeff, 20 years in research and hospital science. He commenced his winemaking apprenticeship in 1997 at Green Vineyards, backed up by vintage work in '99 and 2000 at Bianchet and Yarra Valley Hills, both in the Yarra Valley. At the same time he began the external Bachelor of Applied Science (Wine Science) course at CSU, while still working in biochemistry in the public hospital system. They purchase grapes from various cool climate regions, including the Yarra Valley and Yea. Exports to Canada.
