Our Review
Founder Roger Morgan planted cabernet sauvignon and pinot noir in 1971, extending those plantings over '89-'91, adding merlot in the same year, and chardonnay two years later. The property was purchased by Simon and Michele Gunther in 2009. They have done considerable work in rejuvenating the vineyard and surrounding land.
About

Using traditional methods, Morgan’s has for many years produced limited quantities of high quality wines from 100% hand picked estate grown fruit from its beautiful old vines.
Set on the slopes above the valley floor, Morgan’s is perfectly positioned to grow premium quality cool climate grapes.
The first vines on the estate were planted in 1971 making Morgan vineyards one of the oldest vineyards in the Yarra Valley, putting the vines on a par with the likes of Mount Mary, Seville Estate and Yarra Yering.
