In 2008 John and Katie Sprigg decided to pass ownership of their 1300ha wool, meat and grain-producing farm to son Ben and wife Louise. However, they have kept control of the 6.5ha of sauvignon blanc, riesling, chardonnay, cabernet sauvignon and merlot planted in 1993. When demand requires, they increase production by purchasing grapes from growers in the Frankland River subregion. Riesling remains the centrepiece of the range. Exports to the US, Japan and China.
