Merv and Jan Smith have farmed their property as a fine wool and lamb producer for over 30 years, but in 1996 diversified with the development of a vineyard planted to sauvignon blanc, semillon, cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, malbec, shiraz and pinot noir. One hundred tonnes of grapes are sold to other makers, 25 retained for Adinfern Estate. Exports to Singapore and Hong Kong.
