Our Review
Eagle Vale is the venture of Colorado businessman Steve Jacobs, and the management/ winemaking team of Chantal and Guy Gallienne. The Galliennes come from the Loire Valley, although Guy secured his winemaking degree at Roseworthy College/Adelaide University. The vineyard is managed on a low-impact basis, without pesticides (guinea fowls do the work) and with minimal irrigation. All the wines are made from estate-grown grapes. Exports to the UK, the US, the Seychelles, China and Hong Kong. -JAMES HALLIDAY
