In ’22, 4 years after moving his family from their native South Africa to Margaret River, winemaker Darran Stone launched Stones + Thunder. Just 3 wines – a chardonnay, a cabernet sauvignon and a Bordeaux blend – are in the range, each made with intent to capture and express their Wagtail vineyard in Wilyabrup. -ANNA WEBSTER
