Vasse Felix is Margaret River's founding wine estate, established in 1967 by regional pioneer Dr Tom Cullity. Owned and operated by the Holmes a Court family since 1987, Paul Holmes a Court has brought the focus to Margaret River's key varieties of cabernet sauvignon and chardonnay. Chief Winemaker Virginia Willcock has energised the winemaking and viticultural team with her no-nonsense approach and fierce commitment to quality. Vasse Felix has four scrupulously managed vineyards throughout Margaret River that contribute all but a small part of the annual production. Wines include icons TOM CULLITY (cabernet blend) and Heytesbury Chardonnay as well as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc Semillon and Shiraz; Filius Chardonnay and Filius Cabernet Sauvignon; Classic Dry White and Classic Dry Red, plus limited quantities of Cane Cut Semillon and Blanc de Blancs. Exports to all major markets.

Planted in 1967, Vasse Felix was the first vineyard and winery established in Margaret River and is owned and operated by the Holmes à Court family.
Margaret River enjoys long growing seasons, ancient soils and cooling sea breezes from the Southern and Indian Oceans which provide ideal viticultural conditions to craft consistent, elegant and complex wines with pronounced varietal character.
Vasse Felix focuses on crafting wines that offer a definitive expression of the region and its best suited varieties cabernet sauvignon (and blends), chardonnay, shiraz and sauvignon blanc and semillon blends. The winery’s ethos remains that of founder Dr Tom Cullity’s simple aim in establishing Vasse Felix, ‘to make the best possible wine.’
Vasse Felix continues to be one of the most highly reviewed and visited wineries in Australia, treating wine and food lovers from around the globe in its striking stone and timber cellar door, restaurant and art gallery. Within the original underground cellar lives an archive of Vasse Felix and Margaret River wine history.
