Warner Glen Estate is a partnership of five WA families, led by viticulturist Glen Harding. The Jindawarra Vineyard, just south of Karridale, is only 6km from the Southern Ocean and 4km from the Indian Ocean; it avoids extreme high temperatures as a result of the cooling sea breezes. It is planted to shiraz, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, pinot noir, viognier and pinot gris. Cabernet sauvignon is sourced from the Warner Glen-managed vineyard at Wilyabrup. Wines are released under the Warner Glen Estate, Frog Belly and Smokin' Gun labels. Exports to Switzerland and China.
Warner Glen Estate sits on 100 Hectares of pristine land abutting the Chapman Brook and National Park in the Southern Region of Margaret River. Currently in conversion to organic grape production Warner Glne Estate consistently produces very high quality wines from grape varieties traditionally suited to the maritime climate of Margaret River.
Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Semillon Sauvignon Blanc Blends have received a multitude of trophies and wine show gold medals. Red varities include Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and blends of these varieties.
Warner Glen has a 10 Hectare CALM reservation to help save the critically endangered White Bellied Frog, the inspiration for the Frog belly range.
Wines are only available from the online cellar door and through selected independant fine wine stockists - also available from many fine restaurants and cafes.
