Wise Wine

Western Australia | Margaret River

Our Review

Wise Wine, headed by Perth entrepreneur Ron Wise, has been a remarkably consistent producer of high quality wine. The vineyard adjacent to the winery (2ha of cabernet sauvignon and shiraz, and 0.5ha of zinfandel) in the Margaret River is supplemented by contract-grown grapes from Pemberton, Manjimup and Frankland River. The value for money of many of the wines is extraordinarily good. Exports to Switzerland, the Philippines and Singapore.

Wise Winery is renowned throughout the Margaret River wine region for its dramatic views across stunning topography, encompassing vineyards, old-growth forests and crystal-clear ocean waters – breathtaking views of which can be taken in from the deck of the winery or the verandah of Wise’ Internationally renowned restaurant.

The selection of this site has proven significant to the quality and individuality of Wise Wines. This must surely be one of the world’s most beautiful places to make wine.

Plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz on the property produce the flagship Eagle Bay Wines, whilst fruit, sourced from growers in Margaret River, Pemberton and Frankland River, all cool climate regions, is used in the production of Wise’s diverse range of wines, matching varietal and regional excellence.

Somewhat like the legendary surf breaks of Margaret River, Wise winery has been on a magnificent roll for the past few vintages; with whites, reds and even staff coming in for considerable recognition and reviews. They produce amongst other great wines, not one but two, super-premium Chardonnays.
