Mount Trio Vineyard

Mount Trio was established by Gavin Berry and wife Gill Graham (plus business partners) shortly after they moved to the Mount Barker area in late '88, Gavin to take up the position of chief winemaker at Plantagenet, which he held until '04, when he and partners acquired the now very successful and much larger West Cape Howe. The 8.5ha vineyard is now entirely planted to pinot noir, riesling and chardonnay, with other varietals sourced from Mt Barker, Great Southern and Frankland River. -JAMES HALLIDAY
