The newest bars, restaurants, cellar doors and everything in between – find out what's open now in your state.

Bar Lune – Norwood, SA

Sam Worrall-Thompson is the brains (and chef) behind Adelaide’s ever-popular Fine and Fettle and Community – but his newest venture is a neighbourhood bar designed with locals in mind. Lune features an approachable and affordable wine-list of easy drinking and food friendly styles to pair with a menu of small plates designed for sharing. The stunning fit-out, designed by interior architect Georgie Shepard, is as sleek as it is cosy, with a fabric partition to create an intimate space on quieter nights. Stop by for a Wagyu Katsu sandwich paired with skin-contact drop or classic cocktail (pictured 1/5).

Heritage Wine Store – Perth, WA

In an annexed section of The Heritage Wine Bar’s dining room lives a brand new addition to the venue: Heritage Wine Store. With the original bar and eatery pouring one of the country’s most impressive wine lists (including over 100 wines by the glass) the move to a retail front was a natural one. The store is an extension of the existing wine offering, stocked with classics and emerging and new-wave producers from across the state, Australia and beyond. Try a glass you like with dinner and take a bottle home for later (pictured 2/5).

Native Drops – Surry Hills, NSW

After the resounding success of its Bondi location, Native Drops has opened a second outpost on Crown Street in Surry Hills. An artisan wine, beer and spirit store, the venue aims to provide a considered, boutique beverage service alongside a rotating exhibition of local art – including masterclasses, free in-store tastings and events. Expect familiar names mixed in with alternate styles and varieties, with knowledgeable staff on hand to steer you in the direction of a winner (pictured 3/5).

The Little Devil – Apslawn, TAS

The Devil’s Corner cellar door is a must-visit destination for wine lovers along Tasmania’s Great Eastern Drive. While the popular winery undergoes renovations to expand their offering, a pop-up venue has been constructed, dubbed ‘The Little Devil’. The temporary site offers visitors wine tasting by the glass, wine flights, takeaway wine sales and food. It’s outdoors, so make sure you rug up during the warmer months to enjoy 360-degree views of the nearby Hazards mountain range – or cosy up by the fire pit with a blanket and a glass of pinot noir (pictured 4/5).

You’ll find all the cool-kid usual suspects of Australia’s natural wine scene, plus an array styles from Italy, Spain, Austria, Germany and France. Beers, spirits and organic, un-sulphured ciders are also in stock – and all conveniently located across the road from the day-drinking friendly Edinburgh gardens (pictured 5/5).
