From 96 wines submitted and 20 wines selected.
The mover and shaker this year was pinot grigio. Riesling also flexed its muscles in this section and in the over $20, semillon was the loser in both sections.
The striking link is with semillon and sauvignon blanc blends, Margaret River with four of the six wines selected, leaving one place for Great Southern, and only one from the eastern states, to Adelaide Hills.
