The 2021 Queensland vintage

Granite Belt

A cracking start to harvest with cool conditions and moderate rainfall in the Granite Belt produced beautiful whites and early ripening reds of intensity. Rain toward the end of the season had growers racing to pick later-ripening reds a little early.

South Burnett

The rains came in early January in South Burnett, making verdelho and other early whites the stars of the season. Clear weather and vigilance in the vineyards saw reds through to ripeness, with tempranillo the standout.
