Our Review
The Wellings and Spowart families began developing the Mount Tully vineyard in 1995 as contract growers for other Granite Belt producers. They have chardonnay, semillon, shiraz, mataro, merlot, malbec, cabernet franc and cabernet sauvignon, and since 2002 have made a limited number of wines under the Mount Tully label. A sideline is the Mother in Laws Tongue which, despite the name, is a sweet red. Exports to the UK, the US, Italy, Denmark and Germany. -JAMES HALLIDAY
