Another branch of the Seppelt family, Malcolm and Joylene planted the shiraz (2ha) and grenache (0.5ha) vineyard in 1958. Malcolm studied oenology and viticulture at Roseworthy College from 195964, thereafter working at B. Seppelt and Sons for 14 years. He left in 1978 to build the hilltop home and cellar door; he and Joylene had previously designed and built the winery and cellar facilities overlooking St Michaels church in Marananga. The red wines are from the old estate dry-grown vines, and are not filtered.
This winery is now closed.
