Torbreck Vintners

South Australia | Barossa Valley

Our Review

Torbreck Vintners was already one of Australia’s best-known producers of high-quality red wine when, in Sept 2013, wealthy Californian entrepreneur and vintner Peter Kight (of Quivira Vineyards) acquired 100% ownership of the business. The brand structure remains as before: the top quartet led by The Laird (single-vineyard shiraz), RunRig (shiraz/viognier), The Factor (shiraz) and Descendant (shiraz/viognier). Exports to all major markets.

Torbreck Vintners was created with the aim of building one of the finest wine estates in the world. The vision is to pay homage to the vineyards of the Barossa Valley, home to some of the oldest vines on the planet.
