Heath & Co

Heath & Co is a small family-run vineyard on the banks of the Finniss River on South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula. Upriver from Currency Creek, where the Finniss flows into the lower Murray and eventually the Southern Ocean, the vineyard covers valley and ridge blocks with a range of soils including alluvial, quartz, and river rock over clay. Established in the early 2000s, with the same legacy plantings as neighbours Salomon Estate and Wirra Wirra, the fruit is certified organic (NASSA 5469) and owners Dave and Hannah Heath profess that tempranillo is their true passion. -TONY LOVE
