Zagora

Zagora was established in 2001, drawing on purchased fruit from South Australia’s premium regions, mitigating the overheads of vineyard ownership while offering winemaker Peter Pollard the opportunity to craft impressively poised wines marked by ample flavour and delectable value. Few heads are turned or envelopes pushed, but for around $20, the straight-shooting McLaren Vale shiraz and firmer, more savoury cabernet sauvignon, are hard to beat. -NED GOODWIN MW
