Leura Park Estate’s vineyard is planted to chardonnay (50%), pinot noir, pinot gris, sauvignon blanc, riesling, shiraz and cabernet sauvignon. Owners David and Lyndsay Sharp are committed to minimal interference in the vineyard and have expanded the estate-grown wine range to include Vintage Grande Cuvee. The next step was the erection of a winery for the 2010 vintage, leading to increased production and ongoing wine show success.

Founded in 1995, the 150 acre property comprises 40 acres under vine and continues to cement its reputation for producing outstanding cool climate wines.
The impressive stable boasts an ongoing suite of accolades and includes sparkling pinot chardonnay, sparkling blanc de blanc, sauvignon blanc, riesling, pinot gris, chardonnay, pinot noir, shiraz and cabernet sauvignon. Recognised as a regional pioneer in sparkling, the Leura Park Estate Sparkling Blanc de Blanc continues to spearhead Australian awards. Crafted to age in bottle, the 2011 Leura Park BLOCK 1 Reserve Chardonnay (only recently released to public) was awarded 96/100 – the highest score in the Geelong region in the Halliday Chardonnay Challenge 2012. In addition, the estates Shiraz was awarded Best Wine in Show at the 2015 Geelong Wine Show.
Owners Lyndsay and David Sharp are committed to minimal interference and grape integrity reflected by the heavy culling of fruit to ensure maximum varietal intensity and terroir reflection. The state-of-the-art onsite winery facilitates best-practice efficiency and small batch handling alongside the traditional practices of hand picking, foot stomping, wild yeast fermentation and premium French oak barrels.

A cellar door experience will delight; enjoy the rustic chic ambience of the newly renovated and very hip cellar door, much loved grassy al fresco area or in the Vault, an Opera House-esqueu living art compound. Feast on stunning stone based pizzas, al fresco platters, cheeses as well as a great line up of evolving specials featuring fresh local fare – perfect partners for the 60s, 70s and 80s live music Sunday offerings.
