Our Review
It's a long bow to draw, but when property developer Nunzio Pellicano retired, he and wife Assunta were guided to the Peninsula by their childhood memories of life on the land in Italy. They discovered a vineyard down a quiet lane with a resident donkey (Humphrey), and were captivated by the beauty of the surrounding landscape. They've stayed out of the swing of the local wineries, but have refurbished the cellar door, restaurant and four-bedroom accommodation. -JAMES HALLIDAY
